This was one of the best experiences of our trip to Bayeux/Normandy. They were extremely helpful and had everything ready for us - helmets, locks, bags, and just-in-case repair gear. The bikes were smooth and well-maintained, and were already perfectly fitted for my husband and I. They helped us find an app to assist with trails. We did the #5 trail loop to Gold Beach and it was absolutely beautiful.

Great day on electric bike through the French countryside! This was one of the best things we did on our vacation . We are not cyclists and I was a bit concerned. That said, Locvelo had everything we needed including a battery pack for our on line navigation. They were so helpful. The route was mostly on bike only paths which were scenic and relaxing!! Don’t hesitate to rent from this company and enjoy your ride.

My husband and I rented electric touring bikes to ride from Bayeux to Omaha Beach and beyond on beautiful seaside paths. Our bikes were well-maintained Bosch's, and helmets and single pannier bags were included. Inside the bags were locks and basic bike accesories (pump, tire sealant,etc). The bikes were promptly delivered at the agreed time, and the shop representatives were very cordial and helpful. We highly reccomend!

If you are going to hire a bike in Bayeux these guys are simply the best. We hired two e-bikes sat night to Wednesday. We picked the bikes up and dropped off at the tourist info. On one day I had a puncture at the end of the day, they met us off train and fixed in 5 mins. We took the bikes to Caen, cycling sword Juno and gold beaches and to Caen. We did a cycle round Bayeux Next bike to Caen, bus to hornfleur cycle to Deauville thru valley. Finally train to carentan and cycled to Omaha and back via German battery to Bayeux. The maritime cycle route is very good although we lost the signs in two places (port Bessin - never found again & overlord museum - follow sign for maritime velo, road is on left as you climb). Taking bikes on train and bus is common, the reservation system is mysterious. Just a brilliant company and super helpful.

The bloke that gave me my bike was awesome. He showed me what route to take and what app to use, also gave me a phone holder and extra luggage, no extra charge. Obviously loves his job and made the whole thing a pleasure. The bloke that took my bike was great too.
